Fountain Lake Commerce Center Access Road

FLCC is a State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) approved Municipal Development Plan (MDP). The FLCC Project Plan was created by DeCarlo & Doll for, and adopted by, the City of Ansonia and its designated implementing agency, the Economic Development Commission. This project was designed to promote and foster economic development activities in the City of Ansonia.

The City bid and awarded a contract to construct the 1,100+\- foot Access Road as outlined in the FLCC MDP.  The Ansonia Planning & Zoning Commission in October 2014 approved the resubdivision of this section of the FLCC, which includes the new access road, and land for conservation and development as open space.

DeCarlo & Doll prepared survey, preliminary and final design for the construction of a 1,100+\- foot Access Road off of Birmingham Boulevard to open up 44+\- acres for the private sector development.

The proposed infrastructure improvements will include the new 1,100 LF access road, water and sewage systems, gas, and telephone, electric and cable to support the 44 acre development site. Funding for the project was supported by City, State, Federal and Private Investment.
